Learning in the snow

This week has been particularly exciting as the children have enjoyed exploring the snow.  Our Nursery pupils had a wonderful time learning outside, looking at footprints, building snowmen and catching snowflakes, but it was very cold in the garden so we brought some snow and ice inside! 

The children investigated snow, ice and melting, and used magnifiers, scoops and containers and small world toys to play and explore.  It has been an amazing experience learning so much through play and the natural world.
